Kellogg-owned Pringles has added a Salt & Pepper flavour to its UK range in a bid to boost sales.

The new flavour will be introduced onto shelves this month and will sit alongside the brand’s four core flavours – Original, Salt & Vinegar, Sour Cream & Onion and Texas BBQ.

Fiachra Moloney, marketing manager for UK and Ireland at Pringles, said the brand already has a fantastic flavour variety but the new addition is set to be a success.

“Historically, new variant launches have been hugely popular and have shown than consumers get excited by new flavours,”​ Moloney said.

Past launches have included Prawn Cocktail, Smokey Bacon and Thai Sweet Chilli which pushed average sales up by 50%.
