FPA appoints new chairman
The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has appointed Jim Mize from Sealed Air as chairman of its board of directors.
Mize, the vice president of the global sector - food packaging solutions at Sealed Air, succeeds William Burke, formerly of Nordenia US, who served as chairman from March 2011.
Mize has worked in a range of packaging for perishable foods including fresh and processed meats, dairy products and prepared foods.
The board of directors was elected for a one year term by FPA voting members through a mail ballot and are made up of industry leaders from 28 flexible packaging companies.
Mize said: “It’s an honour to serve as chairman of the Flexible Packaging Association’s board of directors.
“I look forward to a productive year working with FPA members, and staff on a large number of projects.”
