Smurfit Kappa extends corrugated board range
The development makes its corrugated board selection one of the industry’s largest, the company has claimed.
Corrugated board can be used in the production of lightweight, heavy duty and transit packaging for many sectors, including food.
Smurfit Kappa’s newest innovation, the S-flute, offers a lighter, stronger and more durable corrugated board design, Smurfit Kappa has claimed.
According to the company, the fully recyclable innovation incorporates properties that make it ideal for transit and retail packaging, while offering good printability and crush resistance.
“We have built our brand on creating packaging that works in harmony with retailers and the environment and S-flute is another example of Smurfit Kappa’s commitment to innovate packaging that will help build our customer’s brands,” UK corrugated CEO Clive Bowers said.
