Zip Pak to build first Chinese packaging plant
Zip Pak has announced it is to build its first plant in Guangzhou, China
The US-based company said the facility, to be based in the capital of the southern Guangdong Province, will “localise” production of its resealable packaging.
Until now, Zip Pak has been exporting product from its global operations into China and co-ordinating distribution through its Shanghai office.
“The new Guangzhou factory is expected to further enhance the production capacity of Zip-Pak in Guangzhou to meet both local demand as well as the needs of the rest of Asia-Pacific,” it added.
