Filtrona CSP buys BP Labels
BP, based in Cardiff, is a manufacturer of secure self adhesive labels for the food and drink, pharmaceutical, healthcare and cosmetic markets - often carried out as part of an authentication process. It is hoped the takeover will see it expand its international market base.
“The acquisition is consistent with Coated & Security Products vision to be the premier provider of creative and secure packaging, identity and security solutions to our customers and markets of choice”, said CSP divisional managing director Tony Edwards.
"We believe we can deliver significant benefits from utilising our existing global commercial and operational footprint to access new markets for BP’s products as well as from offering our existing packaging and security products and technologies to BP’s current customers."
