CB Packaging has extended and upgraded its plant in Northern Ireland in a bid to expand its business and UK market penetration.

The company has completed a 12,500 square foot extension of its facility and has upgraded its bag making technologies in Bangor, County Down, to offer the entire range of products from one site.

The firm produces paper sacks for a wide range of markets including milk powder and flour, with sizes ranging from 5 to 50 kilo and from 1ply to 5 ply.

Paul McEnaney, CB Packaging managing director, said: “There is considerable scope within the construction industry, as well as food and agricultural sectors for the high quality service levels we can deliver over short and medium runs.”

The firm is part of the Clondalkin Group’s flexible packaging division.
