Equipment supplier TNA has introduced its triple jaw vertical
bagging system, capable of speeds in excess of 220 bpm, to the
confectionery market with the machine set to be demonstrated at
this month's ProSweets trade fair.

According to the company, the Robag 3 offers a higher fill rate, greater film efficiency and lower waste.

The Robag 3 is a core product of TNA's vertical form, fill and seal range and, by displaying it at ProSweets, which runs from 29 January - 1 February in Cologne, the company hope to widen its consumer base to confectioners.

Group marketing manager Shayne de la Force said: "Its ability to package even the most fragile of products at high speeds and efficiency allows manufacturers to solely rely on TNA's state-of-the-art form, fill and seal technology."

In addition, TNA claim the product allows for speedy packaging with easy loading and changeover times of less than 60 seconds.

The Robag 3's film system comprises of single action film threading and operator-friendly feeding and changing methods.

Australia-based TNA supplies turn-key, integrated packaging and processing equipment for food production companies worldwide. It has an installed base of about 2,000 systems.

The company recently expanded into processing, providing manufacturers with all the operational elements necessary for a complete packaging and processing line.
