Bottle case packer cuts costs, reduces damage
production lines and cut costs, its manufacturer claims.
With higher costs affecting their margins more and more processors are looking to increase the speed of their production and packaging lines. They are also automating tasks that were previously done by hand.
Standard-Knapp says its 989 PakMore continuous motion bottle packaging machine is capable of outputting 75 cases a minute. The machine can be use to package bottled soft drinks, beer, wine, food, and household products into cases.
PakMore operates using a pressureless zero-gap infeed system. This allows the machine to operate with precision at high speeds, reducing downtime due to jams.
"Designed to maximize placement accuracy and minimize bottle damage, the PakMore's technologically advanced, dual-axis servo grouper and gripper heads pick up bottles and safely lower them into the case," the company claimed in a press release.
PakMore comes with an automated head changeover feature and a fault recovery system.]
The PakMore can be set up as an inline or peninsula system.
Standard-Knapp is US company based in Connecticut and supplies packaging solutions to the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Asia.
