Lifestyle Bread has announced a new low-carbohydrate bread break-through. After years of research, the discovery allows superior bread quality with a substantial reduction in carbohydrate content, by substituting virtually all flour with sprouted organic grain with added nutrition.

The new bread is made with seven sprouted organic grains of Oats, Rye, Wheat, Rice, Millet, Corn and Barley; to this LifeStyle add water, Gluten Flour, Unbleached Flour, Honey, Yeast, Lecithin, Salt and Molasses.

The company believes that this new breakthrough was achieved by a combination of factors. The new organic sprouted grain process, blended with a strict control of texture, density and weight was seen to cause a natural change that allows the body to assimilate the nutrients more efficiently, while the baking process increases the vitamin content by as much as 500 per cent, nutritionists say.

The grain also burns off much of the energy during the sprouting process. Protein and fibre are also dramatically increased. The company also claims that the new technology does not contain any other conditioners and emulsifiers that may be found in a non-organic bread product.
