DeltaTrak, a manufacturer of portable test instruments for the food industry, has launched a new Pen-Type Thermo-Hygrometer with several improvements such as a broader temperature range and improved sensor design for faster response.

The unit includes features such as a temperature hold button and min/max memory function that allows for the lowest and highest readings to be stored for instant recall. The electronic capacitance polymer film sensor is said to provide a high accuracy of ±3 per cent from 40 per cent to 80 per cent R.H. and 0.1 per cent RH resolution. The temperature sensor range is 14F to 122F (-10C to 50C) with an accuracy of ±1F or 0.5C from 14F to 113F (-10C to 45C). The Pen-Type Thermo-Hygrometer is NIST traceable and carries the CE mark.

"DeltaTrak constantly works toward improvements in our products, based on feedback from the users and engineering advancements," said Frederick Wu, president. "We believe our customers will be very pleased with the improved functionality in this thermo-hygrometer, as well as continuous improvements in the other measuring devices within our product line."

DeltaTrak manufactures portable test instruments and software that monitor and record temperature, humidity, and pH parameters. Products and services are sold worldwide to customers in over 40 countries. Headquartered in Pleasanton, California, DeltaTrak also has R & D offices in San Diego, California, a manufacturing and distribution facility in Modesto, California, an electronic assembly operation in Shenzhen, China.
