Rotatek to showcase latest labelling technologies

Spanish narrow web printing equipment manufacturer Rotatek will present its latest label and flexible packaging printing solutions at the Labelexpo Europe 2003, to be held at the Brussels Expo, 24-27 September.

The company's exhibits will include the combined offset-flexo label printing presses and the new label slitter re-winder with die-cutting unit for blank label production.

Rotatek​ says that its machines have a modular conception which makes them easy to adjust to the individual customer needs and are suitable to print and convert on a wide variety of materials.

The company will also be exhibiting a Combi-press which can integrate different printing systems such as offset, flexo, silkscreen, hot stamping - and the latest technology of cold stamping, where the glue can be applied either with a flexo or an offset printing unit. In addition, the modular construction of the hybrid press are said to make it possible to include a variety of processing and finishing units, all in-line.

The Combi-press is designed to meet the increasing demands for printing quality in the label and packaging markets, especially in the wine and cosmetic industries, and aims to offer flexibility, easy access, quick change and a high price-quality ratio.

Labelexpo Europe 2003​, the tenth biennial international labels and product decoration event, will offer a platform to all the key suppliers to the industry, a summit conference and networking opportunity.

The company will be highlighting all of its latest technologies in Hall 7, stand number N110 during the Labelexpo Europe 2003.
