Melbourne will host two major packaging events from 30 September to 3 October 2003, for the Australian Packaging Machinery Association (APMA) and the Packaging Council of Australia (PCA).

Auspack 2003, the only event in Australia dedicated to showcasing the machinery, materials and technology for packaging, and presented by the APMA, will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

The event aims to offer exhibitors the opportunity to meet agents, distributors and thousands of potential customers from throughout Australia and the surrounding region to attend over the four days.

Over 200 exhibitors will take part in Auspack 2003, displaying around 700 national and international products, technologies and services relevant to packaging.

For visitors, such as production and engineering managers, Auspack aims to offer integrated equipment and technology solutions along the production line to improve productivity and the bottom line, while marketers will have the opportunity to discover new materials, technology and applications that can deliver a marketing edge.

Further information about Auspack 2003 is available from the dedicated website, www.auspack.com.au

The other packaging event will be held in Melbourne at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on 1 October 2003 when the Packaging Council of Australia will announce the Australian Packaging Awards for 2003.
