Eurosicma is to unveil a range of new packing machine and feeder
system technologies for the confectionery industry at this week's
Ipack Ima show.

Eurosicma is due to unveil a range of new packing machine and feeder system technologies designed to meet the increasing demand and the special needs of clients in the medium market bracket at the Ipack Ima 2003.

This is a totally electronic machine using the same technological contents of its previous but upgraded with touches such as industrial PC, brushless motor and Can bus technology, the company says.

With a capacity that can reach 1,000 packing units per minute, the machine, throughout the process, has a high size-changing flexibility, handling up to 25 per cent packing unit length variation.

The company will also be displaying a MiniSmart Line, feeder 110 degrees, pillow-pack Mod. Euro 88/EL packing machine combination, which consists of a completely automated feeding system for a variety of products such as chocolate bars, wafers or covered biscuits and baked products in general. The company claims that the system can handle up to 50 rows of products and goes through 300 units per minute.

But along with the new additions exhibited at the trade fair, Eurosicma says it has further launches 'in store', including new versions of packing machines for bubble-gum, lollipops, noodles, biscuits.
