Sonoco has appointed Patrick Keese to the post of vice president,
global marketing, consumer products, with effect from 1 October
2002, the company's senior vice president has announced.

Sonoco has appointed Patrick Keese to the post of vice president, global marketing, consumer products, with effect from 1 October 2002, the company's senior vice president has announced.

"We are delighted that Patrick, who will report to me, will be bringing hisleadership, customer and market focused skills, and excellent product andprocess knowledge to our European consumer operations. We are confident thatunder his leadership, Sonoco will continue to aggressively grow its consumerpresence in Europe,"​ said Charles L. Sullivan.

Keese has held various marketing, sales and business developmentpositions within the division. He is a 1986 graduate of Clemson Universitywith a B.S. in Industrial Management.

Sonoco, founded in 1899, is a $2.6 billion (€2.7bn) manufacturer of industrial andconsumer products and provider of packaging services, with more than 300operations in 32 countries serving customers in some 85 nations.
