In the US, Spray Dynamics, the Missouri-based worldwide leader in
liquid and dry coating equipment has purchased CMS (Coating
Machinery Systems), a manufacturer of continuous and batch coating
systems, from Vector Corporation of Marion, Iowa.

In the US, Spray Dynamics, the Missouri-based worldwide leader in liquid and dry coating equipment has purchased CMS (Coating Machinery Systems), a manufacturer of continuous and batch coating systems, from Vector Corporation of Marion, Iowa.

CMS equipment specialises in aqueous coatings for the food, snack, confectionery, pet food and agriculture industries. This acquisition expands Spray Dynamic's capabilities into side vented coating, cooling and drying processes.

CMS contributes over 30 years of coating experience and technical expertise to Spray Dynamics' 40 years in the business.

Barry Pentecost will be appointed director of engineering, while Kirk Metz will be vice president of sales. CMS's manufacturing and testing facilities will be relocated to Spray Dynamics' existing manufacturing base in St. Clair, Missouri.
