Delta Systems, a leader in automation and motion control solutions,
is to supply Flowers Foods with an initial order for an automated
feeding and wrapping system. The equipment will be used in US-based
Flowers Snack's cakes division.

Delta's proprietary in-feed mechanism and high-speed horizontal flow wrapper utilize SoftFlow, Delta's high-performance motion control software. The innovative system positions products "on edge" aligning the product for automatic high speed wrapping. Jake Bushey, Delta's president and CEO commented, "we look forward to expanding our relationship with Flowers Foods in the future".

Flowers Foods is one of the largest bakery foods companies in the United States. Through its three operating groups-Flowers Bakeries, Flowers Snack, and Mrs. Smith's Bakeries-Flowers, the company produces and markets a complete line of fresh and frozen bakery foods, from breads and rolls to desserts and snack cakes.

Delta Systems, provides leading edge PC based automation control solutions for manufacturing and distribution operations. Its core motion control software, SoftFlow, utilises a proprietary real-time operating system to provide automation control applications.
