Seychelle Water Filtration Products has announced that it has completed the research and development of its newly designed pure water vending machine.
"The major significance of this product is that it can be used on non potable municipally delivered water. This means that more people all over the world can have access to clean and safe drinking water," said Carl Palmer, president and CEO of Seychelle Water Filtration Products.
This product will be targeted at the international market in countries where the ability for people to access clean water is a problem. The Pure Water Machine is designed to produce more than 2,000 gallons of cold purified water per day. The unit removes contaminants such as pathogenic, viral, bacterial and organic matter from water sources including industrial, residential and agricultural.
"We can provide a system that will bring affordable, safe and drinkable water to people who have not had access to this basic human necessity," said Palmer adding, "By doing this, we can help increase the quality of life for people in remote areas throughout the world."
The system utilises a patent pending multiple stage ozone oxygen system in conjunction with the company's exclusive ionic absorption micro filtration process. The system operates with a proprietary discharge method of producing ozone.
The Pure Water Machine has been designed to meet the needs of the global market both in urban and rural areas. Initially, the product will be sold in China, Chile, Ecuador and the United States. The company is also exploring opportunities in other Asian and Latin American countries.
The product will enable people to purchase a gallon of cold purified drinking water for approximately $0.20. The vending machine is ruggedized for use in demanding environments. It will be equipped with the appropriate power supply and connections for the water source.
