Gruppo Fabbri, a leading European player in the production of machines and plastic films for the packaging of fresh food products, has chosen Intentia's Movex Solution to manage its business.
The decision was made after a selection process in which Gruppo Fabbri considered a variety of local and international solutions.
In the first phase, the subsidiary Fabbri Arti Grafiche will implement Movex. After that, the solution will be rolled out at Automac and then later, at all of the other companies that make up the group. For the last several years, Gruppo Fabbri has managed its business via a "home-made" enterprise system. However, in light of its steady growth, the group determined that a new solution was needed to support future expansion.
Gruppo Fabbri chose Movex because of its technology solutions and the fact the software met its requirements for process and discrete manufacturing. Intentia's international presence was another factor in the decision. "With Intentia's Movex solution, we found the right combination of technological innovation and functional coverage which will satisfy our increasing integration needs for years to come," explains Angelo Caruso, MIS manager at Gruppo Fabbri.
