Spanish industrial group Coexpan, which specialises in yoghurt packaging, has acquired French plastic packaging manufacturer FSP, part of Franco-German group Bericap, according to a report in Les Echos.
Roye-based FSP, which produces a range of packaging for long-life or delicate products such as jam and fish, has increased its market share fivefold over the past four years and expects revenue of more than €10 million this year.
The acquisition will allow Coexpan to expand its current packaging range as well as increasing its production capacity.
