SNAC International is gearing up for SNAXPO23 – Orlando, Florida, 19-21 March – which this year places emphasis on supporting startups, examining flavour trends and sharing knowledge.

The annual event is targeted exclusively to the international snack industry, and features an expo of equipment, packaging, ingredients, seasonings, processing and other services related to snacks. It’s also a platform that brings together startups, leaders, suppliers and critical partners to network, share conversations on hot industry topics and get insight into consumer trends.

“Every snack brand – existing and emerging – needs to consider its appeal to the latest consumer trends,” said Christine Cochran, president and CEO of SNAC International.

“SNAXPO is the place where snack brands of all sizes can network, share ideas, learn and rub shoulders with some of the top leaders in the industry.”

New this year is the Startups Hub, specially designed to help early-stage brands – whether just starting or on the brink of a major leap in growth – achieve their goals.

The Startups @ SNAXPO programme helps entrepreneurs to:

  • Connect with industry mentors to help you navigate the category
  • Discover innovations and suppliers that can help you grow
  • Meet co-manufacturing partners
  • Participate in sessions with leading industry media
  • Learn about the industry’s most impactful trends
  • Gain visibility with established snack manufacturers and other industry players

The programme will help entrepreneurs to reduce costs to attend SNAXPO23 (including travel, hotel and registration), a welcome programme, coordinated interviews with trade media, product display opportunities, personal guided tours, connections with industry mentors and education tailored to emerging brands.

But the programme has limited space and available on a first-come, first-serve basis, depending on certain criteria. The deadline to apply is 26 February.

Snack packs

Also debuting this year is Co-Pack Central – co-sponsored by the Contract Packaging Association – to provide snack brands of all sizes easy access to contract manufacturers and partners.

SNAC International is also offering co-manufacturers a unique opportunity to help you gain valuable visibility without the heavy lift of exhibiting. Reserve a kiosk for just $1,000 – a heavy discount from a 10×10 booth that goes for $3,400.

Do you believe you have a major-league flavour? Are you ready to pitch your on-trend sweet and savoury sensation against others to win the title?

Get ready, set, go, as the popular Flavour Showdown competition is returning.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample and vote for their favourite – so make sure your seasoning is product ready. Deadline to enter is 27 February.

The SNAXPO23 Flavour of the Year Awards will be announced at the Closing Party on 21 March.

Hot topics

A full lineup of educational seminars and industry discussions will be hosted at the Knowledge Zone, exploring topics on legislative and regulatory priorities; legal and technical state of cannabis for food; sustainability solutions; Latin American snack trends; and insights into successful co-manufacturing.

Finally, SNAC Bites returns to provide opportunities for suppliers to share their innovative ideas, tech and techniques. These quick 30-minute sessions are free to all trade show attendees.

See you there!
