In today’s leaner economic climate, packaging players not only have to be cost competitive but also offer innovation in design and deliver on sustainability.

FoodProductionDaily.com caught up with Zip Pak’s International Marketing director Robert Hogan to talk about how the company has initiated the Package Realization Team - a multidisciplinary group of packaging experts to help it meet all those needs for its customers.

The US-based outfit, which specialises in recloseable technology, is launching the new concept at the Interpack trade show, currently taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Hogan explained the drivers behind the project, how the crack team operates and how the company believes it leads to added value for its customers.
