Speaking at the 2013 Global Sustainability Summit, organized by the Food and Marketing Institute (FMI) and the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), in Seattle, US last week, Laurie Demeritt, CEO, The Hartman Group, shared her insights on how consumer experiences with food shopping, preparation, and consumption are changing.
She said there are some fascinating shifts in what we call food culture that have huge implications for a wide variety of marketplaces and for a food or beverage brand owner, these trends offer opportunities and challenges for product presentation and packaging.
