Spartech Corporation has recorded a drop in sales for the third quarter running in its Packaging Technologies Q4 results but insisted it is positioned to capitalise on expanded customer bases in 2013.
Spartech Corporation’s food packaging sales volume fell for the three months up to 5 May compared to last year contributing to an operating loss of US$1.3m (€1m) in the segment.
Spartech Corporation has announced it will upgrade its food packaging manufacturing facility in Indiana later this year but will close a plant in Canada by 2013.
