Berry Plastics Corp has said its proposed takeover of flexible packaging firm Pliant Corporation would bring it wider market appeal and access to greater innovation.
Pliant Corporation, one of North America's leading producers of
value-added plastic films and flexible packaging products, has
filed patent applications for its top wicketed slider bag for use
in a variety of fresh product applications.
Pliant Corporation has won a Gold award at the US Flexible
Packaging Associations Annual Achievement awards in the Printing
Excellence category for the Ore Ida potato wedges packaging.
