the Irish food group which is keen to focus on building its
convenience food operations.

UK bakery group Warburtons is set to construct a new £14 million
(€20.3m) extension to its Bellshill bakery. The firm says that the
project will enable the company to increase its bread output in
Scotland from 600,000 loaves to 900,000.
Ambit International, which specialises in meeting the production
needs of the baking industry, has just concluded a further contract
with one of the fastest growing bakery chains in the UK, North
Yorkshire-based Thomas the Baker.
