Cole’s Black Forest Pudding (UK)
In time for Easter, UK manufacturer Cole’s this month launched what it describes as a festive pudding that can be eaten at any special occasion - not just Christmas. The fruit in soaked in kirsch, and Cole’s also makes its own breadcrumbs on site to give a light texture to the pudding. “Retro desserts and flavors are popular at the moment and we have captured the flavors of traditional Black Forest Gateau in our pudding,” said Cole’s Puddings operations director Simon Hatcher. The manufacturer has also launched a Festive Plum Pudding made with vine fruits (sultanas, raisins, currants), apple cider and spices.
