ULMA Packaging had one of the largest exhibitor spaces at Hispack and created a pop-up supermarket to display its packages. It included six fridges to highlight different industry segments; meat; poultry; cheese; produce; fish & seafood and ready meals.
Joseba Alberdi, marketing and communications ULMA Packaging, told FoodProductionDaily, its latest technology, the FV 35 is integrated with vacuum chamber Cryovac, part of the Flow-Vac range to create a vacuum shrink bag adapted to a product's size.
"The machine is already known in the market but we were showing an automated product transfer system between the packaging machine and the vacuum chamber. This allows us to feed the vacuum chamber automatically without an operator," he said.
