The spontaneous snacker

Many consumers are spontaneous in snack choices – just over half (58%) do not plan their snack purchases.
Within the spontaneous snacking group, 65% like to try new snacks and 63% buy a variety of products. Many of these snackers (48%) tend to eat their snack straight after purchase and seem to buy products at the check-out counter.
