VIDEO: Gualapack launches filling machine

The CHP1H is a medium-low production pouch filling machine consisting of a rotating board where pouches are filled and closed.
The technology comes with a loader which can contain approximately 1,000 bags.
It is designed to inject liquid or creamy products in pouches of different capacities - from 40ml to 1,000ml for Cheerpack CP and from 40ml to 500ml for Cheerpack DP.
The company announced it had opened a production facility in San Jose, Costa Rica in November to manufacture the complete Cheerpack DP range, a spouted stand up pouch.
The pouch is used for products including fruit puree and baby food (together with the Gualapack patented anti-choking BabyCap), dairy snacks and beverages, sauces and condiments.
More than 30 employees have been hired to work at the facility, which will cover the Central-South American continent (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela and Honduras).
