The demise of Hostess rocked the US bakery market and so how new owners Apollo and Metropoulos were to turn around business was a big interest. A gluten-free Twinkie was one of the ideas toyed with, and I don’t think Euromonitor was the only one thinking it was a clever idea… Perhaps we’ll see the fruits in 2014?
