What is it? “They are salted, baked crackers. What’s fun about them is they come in unexpected shapes like telephones, cameras, tennis rackets and gold fish. The snacks are available in multi packs, sharing bags and single packs.”
What makes it so innovative? “Jacob’s hoped to attract what they classified as ‘fresher, younger’ consumers to the biscuit aisle and I think this is the right strategy. It’s interesting to play up on the shapes as it encourages consumers to try something different and at the same time attract younger consumers.”
