Frito-Lay accused of deception in second lawsuit on all-natural claims
PepsiCo’s snack business Frito-Lay was accused of deceiving consumers for the second time with all-natural claims on products that contain genetically modified (GMOs) corn and vegetable oils.
The lack of definition for ‘natural’ in the US and no law requiring the labeling of GMOs on pack was raised in the lawsuit and are hot topics that continue to shake industry.
The snack giant was back in the firing line in September this year for another ‘all-natural’ class action.
