BASF increases prices across Europe, Africa and Western Asia
BASF has announced immediate price increases in Europe, Africa and Western Asia for some resins and powders for the packaging, coating and printing industries.

The German-based firm said prices for polymer dispersions, redispersible powders and acrylic resins were to increase by €50-100 per metric ton, as existing contracts allow.

BASF said the price increase was necessary due to the “significant rise in the case of raw materials”.

The products affected by the price increase are used in the coatings, printing and packaging industries as well as polymers for architectural coatings and construction chemicals.
