BASF increases prices due to raw material cost
The German-based firm said prices for polymer dispersions, redispersible powders and acrylic resins were to increase by €50-100 per metric ton, as existing contracts allow.
BASF said the price increase was necessary due to the “significant rise in the case of raw materials”.
The products affected by the price increase are used in the coatings, printing and packaging industries as well as polymers for architectural coatings and construction chemicals.
