LMI appoints new president and other executives
Ron Wesel has been announced as the new president of LMI Packaging, as the company also revealed a string of other executive appointments.
Wesel, who has been with the flexible lidding company for three years, previously served as vice president and general manager. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations and report to CEO Jean Moran.
The company has also recruited Rich Woodrich as vice president of operations, with responsibility for leading LMI Packaging’s manufacturing, purchasing, safety, and quality groups. He joined the company from Greif.
In wide-ranging re-organisation, LMI said Randall Troutman has become vice president of technology and business development. He was previously responsible for engineering, quality and supply chain logistics and will now lead all commercial development activities including product development, sales and marketing.
Joe Kumpfer, vice president of finance, will take on an expanded role leading LMI Packaging’s overall business strategy.
