Tna offers snack makers user-friendly bagging line
integrated packaging line - allowing snack makers to concurrently
monitor several aspects of the production process - at the upcoming
trade show Snackex.
The equipment encompasses a triple jaw, vertical form, fill and seal bagger which can reach speeds of up to 300 bags per minute and includes a user-friendly master control function to supervise the complete operation. Tna representative Michelle Nisenboim told bakeryandsnacks.com: "The fully integrated packaging system on display enables customers to monitor and direct compatible upstream and downstream equipment like weighers, date coders and metal detectors from a master control unit." Designed for small pillow bags with flat bag widths of 180mm, the machinery is suitable for any small snacking products such as crisps, nuts and even confectionery items. When a bag is made, the system summarises its details and measurements before passing on the information to any attached PC in real time - allowing production managers to monitor the process without being in the vicinity of the equipment. Tna group marketing manager Shayne de la Force said: "Customers need current statistical information about their production lines displayed to them in an easy to read spreadsheet or database format, and our equipment delivers that." Snackex will be held in Barcelona, 3-5 June. It is organised by the European Snacks Association (ESA) for manufacturers in the snack and nut industries.
