Weighing 35 grammes and with a length of 153mm, the company says that it is easy to carry and use. Features include a temperature range of -22°C to 110°C, and can be used for non-contact temperature measurement. The instrument is also said to be best suited when measuring close to a surface, or for scanning temperatures on broader surface areas. Practical HACCP applications in the food industry include quick checks of surface temperatures in salad bars, buffets, hot holding areas, and refrigerated display cases. The clock function automatically displays the time when not reading temperature, and an internal magnet allows it to be attached to any metal surface. The ThermoTrace Mini Infrared Thermometer is NIST traceable and carries the CE mark.
