A slice of organic for convenience food

Belgium's largest organic producer, Bioline Europe​, has launched an innovative new range of organic frozen pizza. All ingredients are 100 per cent organic, non-GMO and free from any additives, pesticides or preservatives.

"This unique recipe is an absolute new flavour experience and is a perfect example of how we have to drive the market of organic foods to convenience products that make absolutely no compromises in taste and pleasure"​ said Arthur Van der Heyden, director of the company.

The five new products are to be marketed as two different ranges. All are quick-frozen for freshness and the company claims that all nutritional values and flavours are preserved in the product.

The first range, called Pizzeria, contains the three most popular classic-style pizzas: a thin and crispy stone-baked crust rich in fibre and protein and finished with a mixture of organic vegetables, spinach and cheese or salami and mushrooms.

The second range, called Creamy Pizza, is made entirely from organic wheat and organic whole-wheat spelt. The pizzas are topped with organic fresh dairy cream with leek & cheese or ham & chives.
