The tray has rounded corners that make de-nesting easier and faster, with special buffer chambers on the corners to keep obstacles at a safe distance and ensure improved shock absorption. The higher edges offer all side impact protection and the ventilation holes in the base maintain the right storage conditions.

In addition, the FrutBox Carré tray can be covered with shrink foil or flowpack. Huhtamaki believes that the combination of a smooth interior and a rough exterior creates an attractive natural presentation.

The FrutBox Carré is ISEGA-certified for fruits and vegetables. After pressed, the tray measures precisely 50 x 180 x 180 mm and the dimensions are optimised for transport in Europool crates. The product can be supplied immediately from stock.

Moulded fibre packaging is gaining recognition as a useful means of protecting delicate products. It is lightweight, offers high shock-absorption and is environmentally friendly.

Huhtamaki develops and manufactures a range of moulded fibre packaging for a range of food industry sectors.
