Spirited closure
closure line, its latest advancement in spirits package sealing.
Alcoa Closure Systems International has introduced the Alco-Lok T closure line, its latest advancement in spirits package sealing.
Designed for both PET and glass finishes, Alco-Lok provides both product sealing and tamper-evidence. The tamper evidence includes visual and audio indicators when the product is opened, featuring complete band separation.
Alco-Lok's injection-moulded design is said to provide consistent, high-speed application. With optional custom moulding, the closure can be designed to complement product branding by including sculptured logos to provide a distinctive look.
The 28mm Alco-Lok closure is available in the North America region immediately and is also expected to be launched in Europe. A 33mm size with optional pour fitment is targeted for introduction in the 2nd quarter of 2003.
Alcoa provides a customer support system, including high-speed cappers, technical support, customer service, on-line assistance via AlcoaDirect.com, machine set-up, troubleshooting and operator training.
