The city of Prague is the setting for the first international symposium on recent advances in food analysis to take place on 5-7 November 2003.
Organised by the International Association of Environmental Analytical Chemistry the symposium will focus on recent advances and applications in food analysis.
The scientific programme is set to cover all analytical aspects and will include: general food analysis (proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, vitamins, flavour components, minerals etc.), GM food and substantial equivalence, food processing and packaging (acrylamide, 3-MCPD, plasticisers) and novel foods, nutraceuticals, products from organic farming and contaminants.
The IAEAC is currently calling for oral and poster presentations - the deadline date for the submission of abstracts is 30 May 2003 and for the acceptance for oral and poster presentations 31 July 2003.
