Corus Aluminium Rolled Products has announced an increase in Foil prices for the year 2003.
The foils are widely used throughout the food industry for a variety of packaging applications.
The company said that orders acknowledged for shipment on and after week ending 4 January 2003 will reflect an additional $0.03 - $0.05/lb., applicable to the fabrication price component of all foil products.
Corus said that existing customers would all be contacted individually to explain the implications of the price increase.
