UK company Orwin Automation, part of the Autoflow Group, will be exhibiting special purpose machinery at the PPMA Show in Birmingham next month.

Orwin provides packaging solutions for a wide range of industries, including those of food and beverage.

The equipment being exhibited is an example of its new Flexible Intelligent Packaging System (FIPS) which can utilise vision systems to orientate, sort (by colour or shape) and count components prior to the assembly and/or packaging processes.

The system is completely flexible for product changeovers and the software is fully integrated throughout the system which is 100 per cent servo-controlled. Representatives will be on hand throughout the Show to discuss any applications for automation, assembly and packaging.

Also being exhibited is a small cleanroom to demonstrate the features of Autoflow Padana cleanrooms. The cleanroom walls and ceiling are totally modular and constructed using high-pressure melamine laminate bonded to an aluminium frame. The cleanrooms are purpose designed and built to suit requirements.
