UK packaging provider Innopac has increased the powder filling capacity at its newly acquired site in Middlewich.

The new production line will be equipped with Sandiacre filling machines and Webb powder augers. The modifications add greater flexibility to the production line and now mean that it will be able to handle powders and granules in a wider range of sachet sizes.

The line has also been adapted to handle water-soluble films as well as more traditional printed foils.

Innopac is a specialist contract packer and distributor of water-soluble films. It provides a comprehensive range of contract packing services, which include specialist-packaging lines that allow the effective use of water-soluble films for the packing of liquids or powders.

The company also supplies water-soluble films on the roll or in pre-formed sachets printed, as well as pre-formed pouches, foil laminates on the roll and printed cartons.
