Why US peanut consumption has hit record highs

Peanut consumption in the US has hit record levels for the second year in a row – rising to an all-time high of 7.9 pounds (3.5kg) per American in 2021. However, the National Peanut Board (NPB) said the consistent rise of the nut’s popularity is not surprising, given its significant sustainability figures that resonate with consumers.

Kellogg’s UK to trial paper lining for Corn Flakes

Aligned to its pledge to transition 100% of its packaging to reusable, recyclable or compostable material by the end of 2025, the breakfast cereal giant will be trialling a fully recyclable paper liner for its Corn Flakes cereals next year.
