Pro Mach has acquired Stork-Texwrap to expand its secondary packaging product line.

Texwrap manufactures automated shrink wrap systems, including L-bar sealers, side sealers, tunnels, infeed technology and conveyors across the food and bakery sector among others.

For example, it designs shrink wrappers for frozen pizzas and cakes, sauces, condiments, eggs, potatoes, and broccoli.

The company will continue to operate from its facility in Washington, Missouri.

Stork Fabricators, a metal fabrication shop housed at the Stork-Texwrap facility, will also continue to operate and provide custom services including plasma and waterjet cutting, as well as CNC machining including laser, punch, turning, milling and press brakes.

Pro Mach and Texwrap share a common tradition for customer service and product excellence,” said Mark Anderson, president/CEO, Pro Mach.

Their products strengthen our core technology offering and allow us to serve a wider range of customers with an established and trusted brand.”

Case and tray forming/sealing

Texwrap has a nationwide network of packaging distributor partners and its partnerships allow Pro Mach to strengthen its footprint for case and tray forming/sealing, pallet stretch wrapping, and now shrink wrapping through the brands Wexxar/BEL, IPak, Orion, and Texwrap.

The Texwrap team will join Pro Mach’s End of Line Group led by Gary Evans. Reporting to Evans will be Brian Stork, VP and GM of Texwrap.

Texwrap has an excellent product line and talented people that complement our existing capabilities and customer base,” said Evans.

“Their knack for solving customer problems using cost-effective and proven technology makes them a great addition to our End of Line Group.”

In addition to end of line packaging, Pro Mach manufactures and integrates technology for bottling and capping, primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, labeling and coding, and material handling.
