The US sprouted grains specialist will launch a wrap product seven-grain wrap across the US in the coming months.

The wrap is made using red wheat berries, oat groats, rye berries, barley, millet, quinoa and amaranth – all sprouted to increase the nutrient profile. The company has used what it describes as a ‘mash’ method that requires less processing than regular flour methods and helps preserve taste and texture.

The company already has an extensive line of sprouted baked goods, including breads, buns, rolls and pizza crusts, but company CEO Jenny Marino said it was a great on-the-go addition.

“The versatility of our new sprouted grain artisan wrap makes it a wonderfully convenient option for families,” she said.

Julian Mellentin, healthy foods expert, recently suggested sales of sprouted grains in the US would reach $250m in the next five years.
