Flowers Foods has issued a voluntary recall across a range of its bakery products sold in four US states due to unlabeled milk content.

The recall involves a host of Bar-B-Q bread brands - Sunbeam, Bunny, Flowers Deli and Ingles – sold in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Tennessee.

“Less than 3,000 loaves of bread are involved in the recall,” Flowers said. “Much of the product involved has been contained within Flowers’ distribution system. Out of an abundance of caution, Flowers issued the voluntary recall and is advising its trade customers to withdraw this product from sale,” it continued.

No illnesses have been reported to date. The bakery major is working with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to recover the products involved.
