The company, which was created in February 2009 backed by a £525,000 debt investment from Finance Wales, has secured a number of contracts with distributors and commercial bakeries in continental Europe and North America.
Stuart Whelan, Chevler managing director, said that it had invested significantly in its operations and that strong demand has also resulted in the company increasing its workforce by more than 30 per cent with the creation of 16 new jobs.
Chevler currently manufactures over one billion baking cases a year in some 600 shapes and sizes at its two facilities in Hengoed.
