The business development and sustainability manager added it is also forming partnerships with companies to use other bioplastic layers that bring properties such as seal strength and greater moisture resistance.
Using a combination of these materials means laminates are becoming compatible – producing layers that are functional and offer greener end of life possibilities, he said.
