Kellogg’s-owned Pringles has launched limited edition Chicken Salt and Meat Pie flavors to its tubular-boxed potato chip snacks in Australia.

The global potato chip brand - available in 59 countries around the world – has rolled out the popular Australian flavors to coincide with the country’s much-awaited football finals series that began this week.

The final showdown of the Australian Football League (AFL) will be held on September 30.

One of the first games of footy (or Aussie rules) to be recorded was played between Melbourne Grammar and Scotch College in the park just outside where the Melbourne Cricket Ground is situated today in 1858.

Pringle's new flavors will be available from selected Woolworths and IGA stores, retailing for AU$3.99 (US$3.20) per can.
